Trouble Sending your Email? Let Us Help.

How to set your email account to enable SMTP authentication
If you have trouble sending mail from your mail.cybercity.com
email account it is because you do not have the “My outgoing server
(SMTP) requires authentication” setting set in your email client –
Outlook or Outlook Express.
CYBERCity now requires all mail users to have this authentication
enabled. Without it spammers can use your email address to “bounce” or
“Relay” mail through our system so it appears that the spam is coming
from you. The higher security setting will protect you and our servers
as well.
The proper setting instructions can be found at:
http://www.cybercity.com/setup/
Or follow the instructions below.
In Outlook Select Email Accounts from the Tools menu

Select “View or Change existing email accounts”

Click the More Settings button in the bottom right of
the window:

Click the Outgoing Server Tab:

Put a check mark in “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires
authentication”

Click OK
Click Next
Click Finish
Now you should be able to send out mail through the mail.CYBERCity.com
system
