CYBERCity is a privately-owned information technology firm based in Binghamton, NY, serving businesses in the Southern Tier and beyond with full-service, end-to-end information technology solutions customized to fit your needs.  From consulting, sales, and repair services to technology training classes to web hosting and development, we are your total technology business partner.

Beginnings and Structure Alexander "Xan" Penrose founded Penrose Computer MarketGroup, Inc. in 1993.  Since 1995 we have used the trade name CYBERCity.  In 2000 we purchased the eight thousand square foot building we current operate from at 455 Court Street, Binghamton, NY.  The Company operates several divisions, which are defined to maximize the growth and financial development of each area of opportunity.  These entrepreneurial units operate on their own Profit and Loss Statements monthly and set unique goals for their unit of business.  Each unit supports the whole to magnify the value delivered to the customer.  We have a staff of 22 employees.

Primary Business Units

• Corporate Sales & Procurement
  We represent the major software and products manufacturers in the computer industry today.  We specialize in specifying and procuring the correct solutions for our customers.  As a value added reseller of these leading manufacturers we maintain the knowledge base to save time and money when procuring the solutions that are required in today’s fast paced world.
• Technology Solutions & Support
  Our Systems Engineering, Installation and Support services are second to none in our region.  From break-fix to high level Internet security we have the expertise and experience to get the job done and support our customers’ networks.
• Training & Consulting
  Our Training Department operates two classrooms as well as onsite training services.  We train in the major software applications, particularly the Microsoft Office products.  Our training is oriented toward business productivity.  Taking a class at CYBERCity means you will gain proven and real experience you can apply immediately.  We also offer consulting services and database development services in Access and SQL based solutions.
• Web Development & Hosting
  Our Web Department offer web site development services, email, and DNS hosting services.  Our email and hosting services are run from our facilities.  We are not a reseller of other hosting provider services.  This means we can provide the personal response and support small business need when they begin doing business over the Internet.
